Monarka Mex Folk and Mariachi Monarka bring authentic Mexican culture to Poland through live music, traditional dance and immersive cultural events. From colourful folklore shows and dynamic workshops to romantic mariachi serenades, we create unique experiences for audiences of all ages.
Our group offers:
Mexican folklore dance shows for festivals, theatres, museums, schools and cultural centres
Live mariachi music for weddings, birthdays, quince años, corporate events and private parties
Educational workshops and lectures about Mexican traditions, costumes, history and celebrations
Day of the Dead and other themed events that combine performance, storytelling and audience interaction
Tailor‑made cultural programs for companies, schools, embassies, restaurants and city events
At Monarka, Mexican traditions are not just “performed” – they are lived, shared and adapted to the Polish context with respect and creativity. Whether you need a full stage show, an intimate mariachi performance or an engaging workshop, Monarka Mex Folk and Mariachi Monarka bring Mexico’s colours, sounds and stories directly to your event.
“Mexican folklore dance is a moving painting – every skirt, every step and every rhythm tells a story of the land, the people and their dreams.”
“Mariachi is the heartbeat of Mexico; when the trumpets play and the voices rise, even the coldest evening in Poland feels a little warmer.”
Anyone can be a Monarka. Our group has a permanent open call, so anyone can help us share Mexican culture throughout Poland. Every year, the Mexican Embassy in Poland helps us spread the call to be part of the national celebration commemorating Mexican Independence in September. Each year, new members join to dance on this important occasion; some stay for more than one year. This time, we’re offering online lessons so you can learn the choreography from home, wherever you are.
We welcome you to join us!
